#2 Golf Courses in Scottsdale: Talking Stick

If you’re looking for an excellent 36-hole facility designed by the best, Talking Stick is your best choice in Scottsdale. The course sits adjacent to the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian community and a large, flat parcel of land. Both of those attributes make Talking Stick very walkable. Its two courses are also some of the loveliest in Scottsdale, with incredible views. If you like a course with more of a links feel, O’odham is your choice. Piipaash is a bit of a shorter course but offers more trees and water to challenge your skills. Both are two of the best Scottsdale, AZ golf courses.

With two excellent layouts in the Raptor Course and Talon Course, Grayhawk Golf Club is a winner! A 36-hole course, it’s a great example of both a 1A and 1B, with exciting challenges and a wide variety of pars. That includes long and short par 4s and several outstanding par 5s on Raptor. (The 18th at the lake is a risk-reward hole if we’ve ever seen one!) The Talon course is just as demanding (but enjoyable), with a par 3 17th hole that’s tough to beat.
